When the Japanese attacked

   There was a scout plane, it flew above Singapore to determine which part of Singapore to bomb

 I was scared, me and my family went to our bomb shelter that we have dug and hide there for protection. We've prepared the bomb shelter ever since we heard that the Japanese attacked Malaya. So we quickly dug a bomb shelter in our home about 2 meters deep and we covered it under our bed. It was so scary, i kept on thinking of what would happen if we lost the war. We kept praying and hope that things will turn out okay. It was stuffy and hot in the bomb shelter. About 2 to 3 hours later. The Japanese started to bomb Singapore, it was loud and scary and frightening.
